The Balloon Hat Experience.

Traveling around the world, taking pictures, making balloon hats, watching everybody smile; it just seems to be an out of the ordinary but beautiful routine in the life of these photographers. This project is truly what thinking outside the box meant.

Documentaries

Now with Mateo around is hard to watch certain movies while he sleeps, so we have been watching quite a few documentaries, because they lack the low dialogue and the loud explosions.
So here are a few that we think are worth watching.

Not going to get into giving sypnosis here do the research and watch it if it sounds interesting.
We think they are good!

Very interesting Documentary

Copyright Criminals, a documentary about digital samplings head-on collision with copyright law, features many of hip-hop musics celebrated figures—including Public Enemy, De La Soul, the Beastie Boys, and Digital Underground—as well as emerging artists from record labels Definitive Jux, Rhymesayers, Ninja Tune, and more. The documentary also provides an in-depth look at artists who have been sampled, such as former James Brown drummer Clyde Stubblefield, as well as commentary by another highly sampled musician, funk legend George Clinton.

Siggeir ..........

"A man with a computer and a vision. Letting his imagination do the work. Sig uses his digital graphic intensity and explodes it onto a canvas, nobody is safe. Whether it's popular culture icons, politics or musicians or the firm belief in the old world."

David Ellis: "Baker's"

Taken directly from his youtube?

David Ellis is a visionary artist who explores the nexus of art, music, and movement. His "motion paintings" are works recorded in stop-frame animation and assembled into video sequence.

For "Baker's," Ellis painted for eight days in the Theory Gansevoort store. The result is a fast-forward compilation of evolving imagery, which becomes as much a work of art as the painted canvas.
