Jesusland by Julia Scheeres

Recently I read a great book that ripped my heart out. Jesusland by Julia Scheeres is a memoir about her life growing up in a very religious home, with two adopted african american brothers caught up in a horrible up bringing. The physically abusive father, and neglecting mother who would rather praise about Christianity, than love and embrace her family. When they get sent to a “jesus camp” in the Domincan Republic, it takes on a whole new role to their life. The trials and tribulations these children encounter are both heartbreaking, and unfathomable. This memoir will leave you thinking for days to come.

LA to NYC in 4 DAYS

The Gondry's are great family of directors the older one Michel has done bunch of great music videos for the likes of Bjork, Daftfunk among others, also great movies like Sunshine of the spotless mind, and science of sleep. Now I learn that his younger brother does not fall far from the tree, among great add campaigns here is a trippy short.

Obama Street

Makes me wonder what would the future of the us awaits, lots of things happening around us.

in Los Angeles Obama has been very present in the streets , thanks to a few local artist that support him.

I was driving in LA, checking out Garage sales and saw this car, its not the first time Ive seen it, But I had my camera this time.
