Una Noche
This looks like an amazing debut feature for Director Lucy Mulloy, I guess that sometimes you have to wear all the hats to make it happen.

20 YEARS OF TRUE ROMANCE
Daze Digital has a great essay on the Tarantino written, Tony Scott classic film True Romance.

"Name-checking True Romance has become shorthand for the message Alabama scrawls on a napkin for Clarence while he's closing the drug deal: “You're so cool!""

XAVIER DOLAN - Filmmaker
I stumble to Xavier Dolan's Heartbeats on Netflix and was taken away by it. Its a simple story told in a very stylized and beautiful manner. Recently I have been hearing a lot about his new movie Laurence Anyways. Check out an interview with this marvelous filmmaker.
"So many times I’ve been bullied into references and influences that were never mine by viewers that would project their opinions and associations and assumptions on me. I remember some journalist wrote: “Yes, we got it, you saw Godard’s 2 or 3 Things I Know About Her.” I had never heard of that movie. I know who Godard is, and I’ve seen 2 films by him. But let’s get real: ideas travel and everything’s been done, it’s all a matter of interpreting things again now."

Wes Anderson, Creating A Singular 'Kingdom'
"I remember the emotion of feeling like I was falling in love at that age, and how powerful it was and sudden and inexplicable," he says. "And nothing happened in my case, but I think it's a fantasy I would have had at that age — would have envisioned. ... These two characters are hit by a thunderbolt and determined to act on it."

Ghosts of Gemini
"The Gemini astronauts also took some of the most memorable photos in NASA history. You’d think we would have seen them all by now."
