back from NICARAGUA
just starting out...
on our way to one of many adventures
chico
donkey dragging is a sport
joey gives a thumps up to NICARAGUA
I got the privilege to travel to Nicaragua, to help with the producing / filming of a 1st hand episode. The trip consisted of traveling to Nica with a few pro skateboarders and document the origins of Chico Brenes a professional skateboarder that made it to the US when he was 10, and became one of the most well know skateboarders of the industry. The magic, color, and uncertainty of this amazing land were the backdrop of this marvelous adventure, and the company of people like Colin Kennedy, Rob G, Danny Montoya, Joey Bresinsky, up and comer Luis Tolentino and of course Chico Brenes made this trip an unforgettable one. Enjoy some of my phone pictures while I developed the others.

Peter Fuss
A very creative artist from Poland who uses the streets and billboards as his personal canvas. The picture above is from his work "War Has Started" that shows another side of the artist using a witty stencil in times of national security? whatever. His other works tend criticize the public idolization of "sacred" symbols but at the same time he tries to express unity as a lost concept it a society based on images.
Check out his work here.

He once said
image from life archive
“Carefully watch your thoughts for they will become your words. Manage and watch your words for they will become your actions. Consider and judge your actions for the will become your habits. Acknowledge and watch your habits for they will become your values. Understand and embrace your values for they will become your destiny.”

CEMENTARIO DE LA RECOLETA
Came to check it out while on tour in Buenos Aires, impressive!
"Cementerio DE LA RECOLETA For the living and dead alike, Recoleta is Buenos Aires’s most prestigious address. The roster of residents within its walls represents wealth and power as surely as the inhabitants of surrounding Francophile mansions and luxury apartment towers hoard their assets in overseas bank accounts. Arguably, the cemetery is even more exclusive than the neighborhood—enough cash can buy an impressive residence, but not a surname like Alvear, Anchorena, Mitre, Pueyrredón, or Sarmiento."
good stuff
David Gallery in culver city Los Angeles represents some great photographers.
Looking forward to their next show....
